Rocks as Building Blocks...

When Jesus came near the place where the road goes down the Mount of Olives...

The whole crowd of disciples began joyfully to praise God in loud voices for all the miracles they had seen…

Some of the Pharisees in the crowd said to Jesus,                            "Teacher, rebuke your disciples!
                       "I tell you," he replied,
"If they keep quiet, the stones will cry out."

We all learn to build our foundation in tough times or easy times, rain or shine...
We can stand up and shout, "Life Rocks!"
Yes, life is a great adventure & a challenge

Stones was highly honored by prehistoric people because of their usefulness. Uneven bits of stone was man's first weapon, rocky cliffs and crags constituted his first fortifications, and from these vantage points loose boulders was poured down upon raiders. In caverns crafted from slabs of rock humans protected themselves. Stones were set up as markers to primitive achievementDuring migrations, it was apparently customary for primitive people to carry stones from their original habitat. The discovery of fire by striking two pieces of stone amplified man's reverence for stone worship.

History records the existence of stones, which when struck lobbed into a state of ecstasy. There were echoing images which whispered for hours itself even when room had become silent and musical stones fabricated the sweetest harmonies. In recognition of the sanctity hands were placed upon certain consecrated pillars when taking an oath.  In ancient times stones determined the fate of accused person, for it was customary for juries to reach verdicts by dropping pebbles into a bag.

The black stone appears several times in religious symbolism. This stone was sacred to the sun and declared to possess great and diversified properties. The black stone in Kaaba at Mecca dates back to Adam & Eve is still celebrated. It is said to be white originally and of such brilliancy that it could be seen many days ahead of reaching there, but as ages passed it became blackened by the tears of pilgrims and the sins of the world.

Numerous dinosaur prints have been found in the rocks, many people claim to have seen human footprints among them. Which were considered priceless. Meteors, rocks from heaven is considered a souvenir from God. The Oberammergau stone is chipped by Nature into a close resemblance of the face of Christ. Stones of such nature were held in the highest esteem among primitive people and even today exert a wide influence upon the religiously-minded.
